Role and Responsibilities

• 4 Years’ experience in operating a backhoe/excavator
• Excavate, load and transport materials in a variety of construction operations
• Operator other construction equipment as required (skid loader, trencher)
• Perform daily routine maintenance on equipment including lubrication and monitor needed repairs and service requirements
• 4 Years’ experience in underground utilities/plumbing installation
• Perform a variety of general labor tasks as required for the job
• Thorough understanding of the TN Plumbing Code
• Proficient at digging around underground utilities
• Knowledge and application of trenching code: Competent Person
• Knowledge of traffic Control
• Ability to work in an organized fashion and lead a truck/crew
• Ability to multi-task
• Exceptional Customer service
• Ability to Problem solve and attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Good understanding of the Commercial and Residential construction process
• Train, guide and lead Ditch Plumber on Water/Sewer installation and equipment safety

Qualifications and Education Requirement

• Minimum 4 years plumbing experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• CDL Preferred

• Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, hand dexterity, speaking, vision and hearing, able to lift 50 lbs. minimum
• Able to perform physical labor/ tasks
• Attend, contribute and lead safety meetings
• May be required to work overtime to meet contract deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Maintain neat and organized job site, free of potential safety hazards.
• Work harmoniously with other with other trades on a job site.
